Good to know...
Family & Lifestyle Experiences can have a lot going on...your spouse, the kids, nice (new?) clothes, a random (to the littles) location, props, maybe your family pet - or some random bug that happens to land somewhere in the shot, or the 5.8 gazillion gnats that are flying around, near-famished hunger, dying thirst, unbearable heat or cold or whatever the weather is doing, and some person with this camera that does not look like Mom & Dad's phone, to top it all off! It's a lot to wrangle!!! Please know that I am not here to just snap a bunch of pretty pictures! You'll get those, for sure, but rest assured you'll get so much more! I have a system to help you and your family get through each pose and candid shot, and look amazing! I'll have things on hand to help with the kiddos, and the bugs!!! And when it comes to clothes to wear and locations, I have some great options to consider.
What to wear
When choosing outfits for your Session, you'll want to choose neutral colors that complement everyone in your photos. Pick one or two colors that stand out in small doses, and remember, we're taking photos of you, not your accessories. Choose one pattern that serves as the foundation for your color scheme, and always wear your smile!!!
Locations
This really depends on whether you are having a Family or Lifestyle Experience. I recommend a location that is close to you. Downtowns usually make for stunning backdrops as do natural settings. For more formal portraits, backdrops are available and you can choose one that fits your vision and can be set up in the comfort of your home.
